4*Name: Asha Warnock
Nationality: Australian
Discipline: Eventing at 4* level, Showjumping mini Prix
Aim: to compete at 5* level eventing in Aus and overseas and to jump World Cup. Ultimately I’d love to represent Australia in eventing.
Inspired by: my horses inspire me daily to be a better rider and horseman. My parents are dairy farmers and I am forever inspired by their work ethic. Cows don’t understand Sundays or public holidays!
Achievements: Opening my own hairdressing salon at age 22 was a pretty bold move I realise 10 years on but I’m glad I did it! My husband and I are in the process of setting up an equestrian facility at our home (horses are currently kept at my parents) we will be shifting the horses here in June 2023 and I feel like that is quite the achievement!

Best advice: sit up!!
Memorable moment: finishing 5th in the 4* at Melb 3de last year was really special! My first Adelaide at 3* level in 2018 was also very memorable. Nothing compares to galloping around the middle of a city!
When not riding: I’m a very keen snowboarder and wakeboarder.
