Its ergonomic design, featuring a joint angled 45° forward (as with all TURNADO bits), ensures even pressure distribution across the tongue and prevents pressure points at the joint.
The symmetrical contact surface of the bit shanks helps counteract the horse's natural crookedness, while a small amount of tongue relief centers and keeps the tongue still. This is particularly beneficial for horses prone to tongue curl. The straight shape of the bit reduces the risk of pinching in front of the first molar in horses with short mouths, promoting a gentler and more precise aid.
