I started riding at 10 years old and have been in love with it ever since. I went through the pony club system and did inter schools doing a little bit of everything. I think I found a love for dressage because of my inner perfectionist and attention to detail.
After winning the Victorian FEI young rider Championship 2 years in a row in 2015 and 2016, I went on to become 2017 National dressage CDIY Champion on my beautiful horse W.Esther De Jeu. Since then I’ve trained my horse Horizonte De Jeu from a four year old to almost Grand Prix at eight years old.
I love the process of training young horses through the levels my self and find it really rewarding, surprising to some I also love riding breakers. I am about to start coaching once lockdowns ease so I can finish the final assessments for my NCAS qualifications.
If there’s one thing I want to always stay true to in the sport it is that the animal must come first and the sport second because their happiness and health has always been the most important thing to me.
I am very grateful to Horse in the Box for giving me the opportunity to work with them and very excited for the future.
